ABOUT ME
The Full Story
Let me give you a summary of my previous work experiences.
I started working as a freelance piano instructor and graphic designer when I was still in college. I designed posters, billboards, and other promotional materials for the music school I was working in.
After graduating Bachelor of Arts in Communication, I worked in a corporate event organizer company. Then I started teaching in a private school as a Preschool & Grade school teacher. I was also the school's creative director and events organizer. Then, I became the school's administrative assistant. At that time, I processed payroll for teachers and other school staff; performed clerical tasks such as answering phones, filing documents, writing letters, and maintaining records. I also managed the school's social media page.
In 2019, at the same private school, I worked as a school administrator and an instructor at the same time. I managed budgets, events, and meetings. I handled scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting; ensured the school complies with relevant laws and regulations, and developed and run educational programs. I hired, trained, and advised staff; counseled students when needed; resolved conflicts and other issues and communicated with parents, regulatory bodies, and the public. I implemented actions that improved the school and the quality of education. I managed the transition from Face to Face to Online Learning during Covid-19 Pandemic.
How did I become a Virtual Assistant? When the school decided to cease its operation due to the pandemic, I decided to become a virtual assistant since it is similar to my previous work. I also wanted to work from home. I enrolled in different online courses and joined freelance groups to be adept and to adapt. It was one of the best decisions I've made because I could use my talents and skills to help small to large businesses or entrepreneurs around the world.
Now, helping others achieve their goals is my purpose, my source of happiness and fulfillment.
